If you just smelt this, there’s no way you would have guessed it was a tea. It smells like a chocolate torte cake. The aromas are smoky, inviting and rich. This tea is a great way to kick off the day for me, since I cannot have caffeine late at night or I can’t sleep!

The ingredients are: Organic Puerh, organic cocoa powder, organic vanilla, organic Theo Chocolate Cocoa nibs, organic rooibos, organic orange peel, organic nutmeg and organic cinnamon. Wait what? Theo Chocolate? Theo Chocolate is the only organic fair trade bean to bar chocolate in the United States. Yum yum. Let’s try this tea.

Oh my gosh. Love it. Velvety and smooth, this tea goes down so well. The chocolate notes are bold and complement the puerh so well. The nutmeg and cinnamon are subtle and add the perfect amount of complexity of the already fantastic brew. I’m a huge fan of nutmeg, I always add it to my pumpkin soup. Phew there is definitely caffeine in this tea, I can feel it’s kick already after a few sips!
