Media Coverage by Women On Top
I’m usually doing reviews, so it was a breath of fresh air to be covered by someone for a change! Check out the review here. The review was done right before Two Leaves and a Bud week which explains the pictures of unopened colorful tea bags. Here’s an excerpt from the review:
Diana Li is a local tea fanatic with her own website solely devoted to tea, www.RockingtheRepublic.com. She reviews a different tea daily, describing each flavour animatedly. She even provides a self-created “Map of Tea Shops Around the World” that identifies tea shops in downtown Toronto for those looking to absorb the city’s tea culture. With plans to start her own company, “Kingdom of Tea”, Diana is an ambitious and passionate woman who turns the traditional view of tea on its head.
Diana’s house appears to be tea-free at first glance. During a tour of her kitchen and bedroom, there is a striking change of decor as she reveals tea boxes, tins, and samples from every corner and crevice. Donating and trading tea is common within the tea community and new flavours are always circulating, she tells us. A tea mountain grows as Diana piles tea box upon box and we settle in amongst the mayhem.
…
What inspires Diana is her love of tea and her desire to educate on the health benefits of drinking tea. As a vegetarian and raw food lover, Diana talks about the importance of healthy living almost as passionately as she does about tea. Finding out that tea helps the immune system, lowers blood pressure, and has some great antioxidants is all the education we need to be tea converts, with maybe a little dessert thrown in to seal the deal.
